[00:00:00] Hey everyone! I wanted to tell you about something I've been working on because I'm genuinely excited about it. Starting next week, State of the Unknown is expanding. Every other Tuesday, you'll still get the full documentary episodes you've come to expect, the deeply researched stories that take us back into some of history's most interesting encounters with the unknown. But on the Tuesdays in between, I'm launching something completely new.
[00:00:27] It's called State of the Unknown, Fragments. One of the things I've learned while researching this show is that not every strange story belongs in a full documentary. Sometimes it's a forgotten newspaper article. Sometimes it's an old legend that's been passed down for generations. Sometimes it's one bizarre account that I just can't stop thinking about. They're not full documentary stories, but they're far too interesting to leave behind.
[00:00:56] And that's what Fragments is. No soundtrack, no elaborate production. Just me, a microphone, and a strange story I think you'll be glad you heard. They'll be shorter, more personal. And I hope they'll feel a little like sitting down with a friend who says, you've got to hear this one. Because some stories deserve a full documentary. But some stories simply deserve another telling. I can't wait to share the very first fragment with you.
